Piano Man by Billy Joel released in 1973 is best known for its title track “Piano Man,” becoming Billy Joel’s signature song over the years; however, the whole album is full of fantastic country, bluegrass, and even progressive rock songs. The entire album would eventually be played live with Billy’s new band after 1976, showing the longevity and quality of these songs when played live. Give this live version of the album a listen if you think the studio version is a little soft.
